The Gateway CX200 is the first ever laptop/tablet convertible to feature a widescreen display. The swiveling design and touch sensitive screen give it the look an feel of a Tablet PC, while the fast CPU, multiple memory card slots, and good selection of optical drives give it the power and functionality of a laptop.
The biggest single disadvantage of the CX200, however, is its lack of immediate portability. At a weight of 6.8 pounds, it is heavier than most other laptops, let alone Tablets, and might not be the best option for the frequent traveler.
Think of this device more as a versatile laptop with a few Tablet PC side benefits, not the other way round.
